Nothing like a nice, refreshing weekend away from the Valley to make me feel at least slightly human again. It takes a few days Back Home to regain appreciation for things like fresh air, absolute quiet, clean water, and the sight of stars like dust in the night sky.

I even managed to salvage a few of my old JPL 9x11 glossies, miraculously not thrown away in my mother's enduring efforts to make room for rummage sale junk; these include a couple of great Voyager composites of the Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and associate moons, as well as a nice shot of the Atlantis Galileo mission. I'll post them if I can put myself to the effort of scanning (which, with my aged scanner, is truly an effort).
